I love this sweet little bird in An Open Heart stamp set, and I love the simplicity of this card.

I used the Blendabilities to color the bird and the rest of the card went together very quickly!  I used Soft Sky cardstock and stamped the leaf image with Soft Sky ink onto this for a tone on tone, soft look.

I also added a bit of the new crochet trim – you know I love this!

And to draw attention to the bird, I used my scoring blade on my Stampin’ Paper trimmer around the Very Vanilla cardstock she was stamped on. I used dimensionals to layer the bird onto a slightly larger piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock.
