A New Year Stampers Dozen Blog Hop

Dec 15, 2014 | Uncategorized | 1 comment

A New Year – hard to believe we are about to enter 2015!  Any time we celebrate a new year, it is a time to reflect on the past and look towards the future.

My project today is something I created to help me record all that I have to be thankful for in my life – I am truly blessed!   As we “travel” through 2015, I will be adding little notes to my jar -so that when it is time to turn the calendar to 2016, I can pull the notes out and reflect on all of the blessings that 2015 brought to me and my family!

There are some “sneak peeks” on my jar!  The sentiment is from the upcoming Saleabration brochure and coordinates with the Note Tag Punch.  The Pompom trim in Calypso Coral is going to be available in our upcoming Occasions Catalog.  Love this! These will be available Jan. 6th!!  Yeah!

Hearts are my favorite shape and wanted to include a heart shape on my jar. I used one of the heart framelits along with my Big Shot and magnetic plate to cut this.

Colors used on my jar are Calypso Coral and Chocolate Chip – and I added a bit of a tea lace doily, some bakers twine, chevron ribbon and gold sequins.

Hope I have encouraged you to start a “thankful” jar for 2015!
