So they say everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day- and I think it is true! I know that every year, on St. Patrick’s Day, when my girls’ were growing up, we found that a leprechaun had visited during the night, and turned all the milk in our house green! And one year he left a batter to make green pancakes! So fun! I miss those days!
My project today is a super quick, cute banner for St. Patrick’s Day.
Here’s a quick “how to” – I started with Fancy Foil Gold Vellum and my Big Shot – and cut out 5 banner shapes. I also did this with crumb cake card stock using the next larger banner shape. (note- if you don’t have a Big Shot or these framelits, you can easily create this shape and hand cut them for the base of the banner – but you know what I say – “every home should have a Big Shot!” lol!)

I used the Sweetheart Punch and Garden Green cardstock and punched 15 hearts – three for each shamrock.

To finish the banner, I simply punched holes along the top – and threaded Gold Bakers Twine throughout.

I used small clothespins to attach my banner to this cute basket in my studio, The Bee Spot – for a little St. Patrick’s Day display!

Quick, easy and cute! Below are the products used in my banner-
