Everyday Hero

My card today uses the fun stamp set, Everyday Hero.

Here’s how I created this card:
(a complete supply list and measurements for this card are at the end of this post)

I used a Night of Navy card base, and added a layer of
Daffodil Delight from the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack.

Next I cut out the Star shape using the Big Shot and the Stars Framelits and Whisper White cardstock.

I stamped the hero and cape onto the star shape with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I stamped another cape image onto a small piece of whisper white cardstock – and used my paper snips to cut it out.

I attached the cape to the star shape.

I used my aquapainter to color all stamped images and attached to my card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the “wow” stamp – which I used upside down to say “mom” onto a piece of whisper white cardstock, – and colored in with aquapainter.   I flagged the end to create a banner.

I attached two pieces of Gold 1/8 inch ribbon underneath banner and attached to card front.

To finish the card, I used glue dots (the fine tip glue pen would also work)  to attach a few sequins.

Here is another version of the card – pretty similar – just a little simpler – instead of using Daffodil Delight designer paper, I used Delightful Dijon.

and here’s the inside of the card:
