Glimmer Paper

Feb 24, 2017 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

I am sharing two cards today – both use the beautiful Dragonfly Dreams bundle and the newly released Saleabraiton offering – the Glimmer Paper Assortment Pack.

These cards really couldn’t be any simpler – and many times, those are my favorite kinds of cards.

Here’s how I made these: (all products used and cardstock cuts are at the end of  this post)

I started with a card base of whisper white. I used my Big Shot and cut the detailed dragon from white cardstock.  The precision plate and the die brush & pad really make using this die easy.

I stamped my greeting on the cards, using Memento Black ink.

Next I positioned the glimmer paper beneath the cutout dragonfly and attached this to my card base.

To finish the card, I applied some Tombo glue just along the body of the dragonfly and placed it back in the white piece I had cut it from.  I gently raised the wings  to create some dimension.

These cards are quick and easy to make, but with the addition of the glimmer paper, they are beautiful.

Thanks so much for visiting today!

Supplies used on my cards are listed below.  Please click on any images and you will be taken to my online store and can order the supplies to recreate these cards.

Paper cuts for this project:  Whisper White 4 1/4″ x 11, scored at 5 1/2″, 4″ x 5 1/4″;
Glimmer Paper 4 1/4″ x 2 1/2″
