Wedding Gift Card

One of my dear friend’s daughter was married a few weeks ago and we were invited. I had purchased a gift card for the bride and groom.  Since I was going to the wedding in person and not having to mail the gift card, I decided to make some cute packaging.

Here’s what I did:

I used one of the Striped Treat bags to hold the card and just “gussied” it up!  I created a tag that I attached to the bag where it was folded down.  By flipping the tag up, the card could be pulled out without having to tear the bag apart.

The colors of the wedding were navy and gold, and so I chose that color palate, and reached for the Beautiful Bouquet bundle again.  I love this bundle because of the great images, but also the great word stamps in fonts that are a mix of cursive and printing.

I enclosed the gift card in a card inside the bag –  this card was a simpler version of the tag on the bag.  I cut a small strip from a bag and added it along the side of the card front.  Not the best picture of the card, but was the best I got as I was heading out running out the door to the wedding!  Love how the word images in the set provide something for inside and outside of a card.

I added a gold binder clip to hold the bag shut – but didn’t get a photo of that.

Here are the supplies I used to create this project, with clickable links to my online store.  I’d be grateful for your order!
