Today’s post features another adorable card using the Have a Hoot bundle – my pick for “Cutest” bundle in the August- December Mini Catalog.

I love the expression on this little owl’s face as she looks at that spider sitting on a cobweb made of vellum!
The Cobwebs 3D Embossing Folder and the Magic in this Night Designer Series Paper – complete with spiders seemed like perfect additions for this card! I added a touch of the Glittered Organdy Ribbon, and a few Iridescent Pearls, my card was complete!

Start with a Basic Black card base cut 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4
Emboss a Blackberry Bliss panel, measuring 4 x 5 1/4 with the Cobwebs 3D Embossing Folder.
Adhere to Card Base with Stampin’ Seal, and then add a layer of the Spider pattern DSP from the Magic in this Night Paper pack, measuring 2 x 5 1/2.
Stamp two of the Owl/Spider image with Tuxedo Memento Ink onto Whisper White cardstock.
Use Stampin’ Blends – Rich Razzleberry and Basic Black Combo packs to add color to the one of the Owls and the spider. Tip: I find it easier to add color to smaller images before cropping.
Crop one of the Owls and the spider out with the Peek-a-Hoot dies. Crop a cobweb with Vellum.
Crop the second Owl image with a Stitched Oval. Crop a Basic Black Stitched Oval for layering, and attach to White Oval.
Position the Oval focal point onto the card front.
Add the cropped owl to the Whisper White Oval with a dimensional, and attach the Cobweb with a glue dot.
Finish the card with an Organdy Bow and some Iridescent Pearls.
