Step by Step Tutorial Black and BeeMEASUREMENTS:

  • Basic White Thick: Card Base – 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4
  • Basic White Thick – 5 x 3 3/4 (layer)
  • Real Red, Basic White & Night of Navy Card Stock – 4 x 4 (die-cut flowers)
  • Basic White – 4 x 2 (stamping and cropping)

Create this patriotic themed-card using the Paper Florist Dies by Stampin' Up! Laura Milligan

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Burnish the fold of the card base with a Bone Folder.
  2. Adhere the Basic White Thick Layer to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  3. Crop the Real Red, Basic White, and Night of Navy Card Stock with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the 4-petal Paper Florist Dies.
  4. Assemble the petals as shown, adhering together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  5. Punch a small hole with a hand-held circle punch, then add the smallest white round brad.
  6. Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  7. Ink up the top row of the sentiment (Beautiful Balloons) with Real Red Classic Ink (using the edge of the ink pad) and the bottom row with Night of Navy Classic Ink (using the edge of the ink pad).
  8. Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the largest Stylish Shapes flag-ended die.
  9. Use a Paper Trimmer to trim off the flagged ends (if desired).
  10. Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
