Here’s a gorgeous birthday card created with the Notes of Nature Bundle by Stampin’ Up!
Measurements:
- Basic White Thick CS: 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼” and 5 ¼”; ¾” x 3 ½” (for sentiment)
- Soft Seafoam: 3 1/8” x 5 3/8”; scrap for leaves
- Lemon Lolly: 2 ¼” x 2 ¼”
- DSP: 7/8” x 5 3/8” and 2 ½” x 5”
Instructions:
- Using the Paper Trimmer, cut and score Basic White Thick cardstock and using the Bone Folder make crisp folds at the 4 ¼” and 5 ¼” score lines. Glue this fold down (1” space) to the bottom of card with Multipurpose Glue. This is the Book Binding Fold.
- Stamp background onto the Soft Seafoam cardstock using the same color of ink and the Notes of Nature stamp set. Attach to right side of the front of card base with Stamp & Seal Adhesive.
- Attach 7/8” x 5 3/8” piece of DSP to the book binding side of the fold with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive.
- Using the 2 ½” x 5” piece of DSP, the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the Notes of Nature Dies cut binder holes in left side of the DSP and attach to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Weave a 5 ½” piece of the Gold 1/8” Faux Leather Trim through the holes of the DSP.
- Using a circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine cut a circle from Lemon Lolly cardstock. Attach to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp sentiment using the Notes of Nature stamp set and Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the ¾” x 3 ½” piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock. Trim ends at an angle using the Paper Snips and attach over Lemon Lolly Circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Cut two bunches of leaves using the Notes of Nature Dies from Soft Seafoam cardstock and attach under sentiment with Mini Glue Dots.
- Add Adhesive Backed Cork Rounds to card as seen in photo.
