I love how the beautiful dove becomes the focal point of this card, paired with a subtle background of soft blue leaves. I used Misty Moonlight Ink and coordinating Designer Series Paper to create a serene, peaceful feeling – just what you want for a sympathy card. A few sprigs, some Linen Thread, and the Peace on Earth label dies bring everything together for a card that is simple yet so meaningful.

Branching Out Birthday Card – Friday Facebook Live

Happy Friday! On today’s Facebook Live, I shared a sneak peek of the new Branching Out Bundle from Stampin’ Up! This is such a versatile bundle – perfect for masculine cards, nature-inspired designs, and so much more. I paired it with earthy tones and one of my favorite new designer papers to create this classic birthday card.

Don’t Forget the Envelope!

I always like to finish my projects with a coordinating envelope. A strip of the same designer series paper was added to the flap for that extra special touch.

Missed the Live? You can catch the replay on my I’d Rather Bee Stampin’ Facebook Page or on YouTube below.

The Card

The card base is Very Vanilla, which really lets the rich tones of Early Espresso and Pecan Pie shine. I used the Branching Out Dies to create two frames – one in Early Espresso and one in Pecan Pie – and layered them over a 3” x 4” piece of designer series paper from the Branching Out suite. I love how the woodland images peek through the window of the frame!

For a little texture, I added die-cut branches (also from the Branching Out Bundle) in Very Vanilla and tied them with a touch of natural mesh ribbon. The sentiment, “Happiest Birthday Wishes,” is stamped in Early Espresso ink and cut with a stitched rectangle. A simple dot finishes the look- another new product alert the Streaked Dots.

Measurements

  • Very Vanilla Card Base: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”

  • Early Espresso Frame: 4” x 5 ½”

  • Pecan Pie Frame: 3 ¼” x 4 ¾”

  • DSP: 3” x 4”

  • Envelope Flap: 5 ¾” x 2 ¼”

  • Scraps of Very Vanilla for sentiment and branch die cuts

Gathering Moments Sneak Peek – Many Thanks!

Many Thanks Card with Gathering Moments Bundle by Stampin' Up!

I’m so excited to share a sneak peek of a brand-new bundle from Stampin’ Up!—the Gathering Moments Bundle. I featured this card during my Facebook Live, and it’s such a perfect way to kick off the fall season.

This card combines rich autumn colors with a clean design, and the little details make it special—like the embossed background, pull-out panel, and a sweet pop of Designer Series Paper.

Missed the Live? You can catch the replay on my I’d Rather Bee Stampin’ Facebook Page or on YouTube below.

Why I Love This Card

This design is a wonderful mix of clean lines and cozy autumn vibes. The Gathering Moments Bundle makes it easy to create projects that celebrate the season and share gratitude in a special way.

If you’d like to see exactly how I put this card together, be sure to watch the replay of my Facebook Live!

The Pull-Out Feature

One of the things I love about this design is the pull-out panel tucked into the pocket. It’s perfect for writing a heartfelt note or adding extra stamped images—like the oak leaf, acorn, and mushroom shown here. The stamped elements tie back beautifully to the patterned paper and sentiment on the card front.

Finishing Touches

  • The sentiment “Many Thanks” is stamped in Early Espresso for a warm, rich look.

  • A bit of twine behind the die-cut sentiment adds just the right touch of texture.

  • A few glittery embellishments bring in sparkle without overwhelming the design.

Project Details

  • Card Base: Thick Basic White – 5 ½” x 7”, scored at 4 ¼”

  • Embossed Layer: Basic White – 2 ½” x 5 ¼” (run through your favorite embossing folder for added texture)

  • DSP (Designer Series Paper): 1 ½” x 4”

  • Cajun Craze Layers: 4” x 5” (pull-out insert) and 1 ¾” x 4”

  • Die-Cut Panel: Basic White 2” x 2” (Nested Essentials Die used here)

  • Additional Layer: Basic White 3 ¾” x 4 ¾” (pull-out insert)

Colors: Early Espresso and Cajun Craze – a perfect autumn duo!
