Fun New Technique and Weekly Deals

May 14, 2014 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

One of the things I found most enjoyable on the Stampin’ Up! cruise last week, was the chance to meet demonstrators from all parts of the world! This was the first time Stampin’ Up! held a global incentive trip – and it was wonderful!

One friend, Constanze, from Germany, did a demonstration of a new technique  and my card below is a simple card that uses her technique!

She used an aquapainter and Whisper White card stock – and “painted” ink colors on the card stock – here’s what it looks like with one color painted on –

No rhyme or reason to this – just paint it on where you would like – making some parts light and some parts more dark.  This uses Elegant Eggplant.

Then I added Cameo Coral ink –

It looks pretty messy – but when you punch this out (after it dries) – you get the coolest, soft, color washed shapes!

And here are some punched butterflies that I used on a tag for a scrapbook page –

Very fun and addicting – of course you can use any color combination of inks that you want !

Here are this week’s deals –

And here is a brand new photopolymer stamp set just released – #137553 and is just $13.95!    You can order any of these products by visiting my online store – just click below where it says “Shop Now”
