Stampers Dozen Blog Hop – I Do!

Before I share my card for today, I wanted to share a photo from our Stampin’ Up! Caribbean cruise last week – there were 10 of us from our blog hop on the ship – we met after the general session and swapped and had a photo taken! You can see Pam Morgan of Stampin’ Up! photo-bombing us! She had just demonstrated for all of us and was cleaning up – – we asked her to be a part of our photo – – and she was kind enough to oblige!! LOL!

Now onto my card!

I decided to make a square shaped card – it is 4 1/2 x 4 1/2. Normally when I attend a wedding, I will take a card with a check or gift card inside for the bride and groom. I thought this shape would be a little bit different than other cards they would receive.

I also made a coordinating envelope to match – since this card was going to be hand delivered, and not mailed, I could dress it up a bit!

The envelope was created using the Envelope Punch Board – have you tried this yet? It makes about 60 different sized envelopes – it is so easy to use! I used Sahara Sand card stock for the base of the envelope and then added a piece of Gold Vellum and a paper doily, some gold bakers twine. The Mr. and Mrs. stamp is from the Label Love stamp set and has a coordinating punch.
