Life is Beautiful Stamp Set

Sep 17, 2020 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

Today’s card features a wintry scene created with the Life is Beautiful stamp set.  This is a card that was included in a recent “class to go” that I offered.  I thought it was so pretty and should be shared!

I created a video to show how this card comes together!

My card base is Basic Gray, and I embossed a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of  Basic Gray with the Brick and Mortar Embossing folder, and attached to the card front with my Stampin’ Seal adhesive, covering the entire card front.

I cut a 3 x 4 3/4 panel of Designer Series Paper from the Plaid Tidings DSP paper stack (a best seller),  and attached at an angle to the embossed panel.
I cut a Stitched Rectangle (the second to largest) with Whisper White cardstock and stamped a tree with Smoky Slate ink.   I added some snowflakes with Seaside Spray ink – stamped twice before reinking to create some color variation in the snowflakes.
This panel was attached to the card front with dimensionals.
Next, I cut a picket fence from the Autumn Wheelbarrow dies and trimmed it to fit the Stitched Rectangle, then attached with Mini Dimensionals. (tip – you may want to cut the mini dimensionals in half before placing on the back of the picket fence!)
To finish the card, I added three dots from the Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets.   I added some snowflakes to the inside of the card, and stamped a little on the envelope!
