For my Monday Facebook Live, I created some projects using the Hydrangea Hill Suite Collection.  Don’t miss this beautiful suite – it is truly gorgeous!  The designer paper, the stamp set and dies, all make it so simple to make some striking projects!  My slimline card above was inspired by my sister in law – Nancy – she sent me a similar card and I just had to make one myself!    Again, as I have said before, when you have Designer Paper that is this pretty, you don’t need to add much more to your project! Let the DSP do the work!

Please watch my Facebook Live to see how I created this card, a different card and an adorable Easter Basket.

How sweet is this basket??  It’s really easy to make, and by using the Springtime Joy stamp set, as the focal point, it just is all about Easter and Spring!   I love this particular pattern of Hydrangea Haven DSP – so soft and such pretty colors.

Measurements for the basket:

6 x 6 inch base

1/2 x 6 handle

Use your Scoring Tool to score at 1 7/8 and 4 1/8;  Turn paper 90 degrees and score at 1 7/8 and 4 1/8

Score up to the horizontal line at 5/8, 1 1/4, 4 3/4, and 5 3/8;   Mark center with a pen at the 3″ mark

Turn 180 degrees and repeat!

Draw diagonal lines from 3″ mark to intersecting lines to form a triangle

Cut up the three score lines on both sides.

Please watch the recording above to see how to put this together! Once you make one, you will see how easy it is!

I also made a card using the pink patterned Designer Series Paper, vellum and the dies.
