I am loving the new 2021-2023 In Colors – and today I wanted to share with you the cards that my In Color Club members received with their first kit! Depending on what their color was for the month – they received a card in that same color! They will get a card for each month of the five month In Color Club. At the end of the club, they will end up with ALL of the new In Color products – and a surprise embellishment from me each month, as a thank you!
This month’s cards featured the Color & Contour Bundle – a great new bundle. I love the dies in this bundle – so great for layering and adding some fun scallops to those layers! These are a must have in my book!
Here’s a close up of the card made using Pale Papaya – the cardstock, ink, and ribbon. So pretty, yes?
Thick White: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4 – card base; 3 1/2 x 4 3/4, 4 x 2 1/2 for stamping/cropping flower
Pale Papaya: 4 x 5 1/2
Directions:
Stamp the floral image in Pale Papaya ink onto the Thick Basic White cardstock measuring 4 x 2 1/2, and crop with coordinating die.
Crop the Scalloped Rectangle die with Pale Papaya cardstock.
Stamp splotches and words onto the 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 Thick Basic White panel. Stamp the splotches several times before reinking to create some variation in color.
Tuck a piece of the Pale Papaya ribbon behind the white panel, securing with Stampin’ Seal. Cut it so that it is the length of the white panel. Take a smaller piece of ribbon and tie onto the longer length of ribbon. Place a glue dot under the tied area to secure.
Add the Pale Papaya rectangle to the card front, layer the Basic White panel over this with dimensionals. Adhere the cropped Floral image with dimensionals.
