My Bee Box Club theme this month’s is showcasing different and creative ways to use the Gold Celebrations Acetate sheets that are part of the Beautiful Balloons Suite. It’s a great suite – perfect for birthdays but also any type of celebration!
I wanted to make a card using the Gold Celebrations Acetate in a creative way – and so I designed this card. It uses the Acetate sheets as the card base. So FUN! I cut the Acetate 4 1/4 x 11, and then used the Scoring Blade on my trimmer to score at 5 1/2″ – press firmly – the Acetate is thick! I then used my Bone Folder to burnish the score line.
Then I built my card – I used the scalloped rectangle – cut 2 – one for the inside and one for the front. By positioning the inside panel first, I then know exactly where to place the scalloped rectangle on the front.
I cropped several ballons from the DSP and added some twine – added my word panel and then some gems. So cute! The inside panel has just one balloon and a greeting (Azure Afternoon Ink).
This is not one of the cards featured in the Bee Box this month – but gives you another way to use these awesome Gold Celebrations Acetate sheets!
