Make a Super Fun Spinning Spider Card with the Stampin’ Up! Web of Fun Bundle!
Who says Halloween cards have to be spooky? Sometimes they can just be a little bit of fun!
During my recent Facebook Live, I pulled out the Stampin’ Up! Web of Fun Bundle and created this playful Halloween card featuring a spider that actually SPINS! And yes, I had way too much fun with this one.
The card starts with a simple white background embossed with the adorable little spiderweb and spider details from the Web of Fun products. I kept the background mostly white, which lets the black and orange elements really stand out.
The large HALLOWEEN greeting is the star of the card, with the fun script Happy layered above it in bright orange. Then comes my favorite part…
That little spider in the lower corner isn’t just sitting there! I added a mini 360° spinner bearing (sold here) behind the spider so it can spin around when you give it a little flick.
These tiny spinner pieces are designed for crafts and cardmaking, and they make a fun interactive element without adding a lot of bulk to the card.
It’s such a simple addition, but it completely changes the feel of the card. Give that spider a little flick and watch him go!
