Yesterday I did a Facebook Live Take 2 on my I’d Rather Bee Stampin’ page. On my Thursday Facebook Lives “Take 2”, I have been featuring free products that are part of our Sale-a-bration offerings. This particular one features the beautiful Calming Camellia stamp set. Both cards feature the beautiful Vellum Layering Designs Paper from the January to June mini. I love this vellum! I have paired it here with the Simply Marbleous Designer Series Paper – also free during Saleabration with a qualifying purchase. I love how the vellum softens the marbled paper but lets the color show through.
I used Blushing Bride ink for this card, and cropped the stamped image with a die from the Seasonal Layers Dies. I added a swirl of Black Baker’s Twine and added a finishing touch with three Polished Dots.
This card features the always beautiful color combo of Night of Navy and White. I layered both Night of Navy and a different pattern of the Vellum Layering Designs for a simply layout.
The finishing touch on this card is the Brushed Brass Butterfly. I’ve been using these a lot lately – they are so cute!
I love both of these cards – they are simple but oh so pretty!

Yesterday I did a Facebook Live on my I’d Rather Bee Stampin’ page. I featured products from the Abstract Beauty Suite from the January to June Mini Catalog.
I created four cards using the Stack, Cut and Shuffle Technique – my viewers seemed to really like this idea and said they would give it a try!

I “stacked” four different, but coordinating pieces of Designer Series Paper from the Abstract Beauty pack and started by cutting them to 4″ x 5 1/4″ -please watch recording for the measurements and how to cut these papers and shuffle them!
You can see how each of the four cards have the DSP in a different spot on the card front – so cute! I love the bright and cheery colors in this paper. I used the Abstract Beauty Ephemera Pack to add detail and embellish the cards. It is packed full of so many neat elements – the flowers, leaves, vellum pieces, word bubbles, tags, and more! So super cute and fun to use in creating your cards!
The stamp set used is Hello Beautiful – it is part of the Abstract Beauty Suite. The Adhesive Backed Hexagon Embellishments add a touch of bling to these cards, as does the Gold trim – from the Simply Elegant Trim Combo from the Annual Catalog.
Love some of the word sentiments in the stamp set!

For my first card, I used the large leafy image – and stamped it directly onto a piece of Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper -also a Saleabration offering – free with a $50 product purchase! I used markers to add two different colors to the plant – Garden Green and Calypso Coral. I love the greeting – “Hello Sunshine” – it comes from the Special Moments Stamp set – this too is a Saleabration reward and is such a great word set – this set contains 21 different words/phrases – it’s been super popular – one of the most picked by my customers.
The second card I made also uses markers for a two tone pineapple – I used Garden Green and Crushed Curry markers. The rectangles in the background were actually leftover pieces from cutting out a lot of Picture This dies for another project – they are the negative part of the die – but I just couldn’t throw them away – they even have stitching on them – so used those to start the inspiration for this card!
Tip: Add splatter/flecks to your card projects with the brush tip end of your Stampin’ Blends – tap the blend firmly with a bone folder and you’ll get this great look – I love to do this as it fills in some of the white space on a card, but in a very subtle way! My pineapple was stamped onto the largest circle and scalloped circle from the Layering Circles dies. Word stamp from Special Moments – again, I just love this set!!! I added a touch of bling – with the Genial Gems and the Floral Art Gallery Ribbon.

For my first card, I made a regular size card – but with fun colors! Why not have a Granny Apple Green truck? I layered some additional colors on the card through paper – Crumb Cake and Sahara Sand and White and added a pop of color with the balloons stamped in Poppy Parade.
My favorite part of the card though has got to be the envelope! I stamped the truck on the front of the envelope – the open center of the truck is perfect for adding an address to the lucky recipient!
Here’s a closer look at the card – I used my Crumb Cake Dark Blend to add some “splatter” to the card front.
Next I made a slimline card – they are so fun to make – the card base is 8 1/2 x 7, scored at 3 1/2. Did you notice our new Slimline Envelopes in the January- June Mini? They are so wonderful – they come in three different colors – White, Smoky Slate and Soft Succulent – I love the shape of the flap and that they are lined with a cute pattern!

Yesterday I did a Facebook Live on my I’d Rather Bee Stampin’ page. This was a Facebook Live Take 2 – and all during Saleabration, for my FB Live Take 2, I will be featuring Saleabration Free products! Yesterday I shared the sweet Catching Butterflies Stamp Set – free with a $50 product order. I wanted to show the versatility of the set – the girl of course is adorable – and created a card with her. Then I used the butterflies stamp to share a totally different look with the stamp set!

So I started with the darling little girl “catching butterflies” – she is just adorable! Products featured the new Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends – these are available to demonstrators now – a great perk to being a demonstrator -why not join my team and add them to your starter kit?! The blends are part of the All Together Suite of products that will be released Feb. 1 to everyone. I used them to color the sweet little girl’s face, cheeks and hair.
My next card is a totally different look with the Catching Butterflies stamp set. I wanted to create something different and decided on a shabby chic look – in neutral tones. This was really fun to make and shows the versatility you can achieve from one stamp set by using different images, and colors etc! Fun!
After creating the shabby chic card, I shared a “cleaner” looking card – same layout and products but in Night of Navy and Basic White. Pretty different look though!

My Facebook Live focused on what I call Weekend inspiration – which consists of several free project tutorials (mostly cards), that I send out to everyone on my email list each weekend. This first card features the beautiful In the Moment stamp set- this is a pretty card – and goes together quickly – just stamp the image and add some color with Stampin’ Blends. I really enjoy coloring line art images like this stamp set features – it’s really relaxing and enjoyable for me. Do you enjoy coloring?
The words on this card are a Level Two Saleabration Free Reward – a stamp set called Special Moments. It is free with a $100 product purchase. It is a wonderful set of all different words/phrases.
My second card also featured words from the Special Moments stamp set – this is a great phrase for a card!
