Yesterday I did a Facebook Live Take 2 on my I’d Rather Bee Stampin’ page. I created the two cards above featuring the Driving By Stamp Set! Such a cute set – and it’s free during Saleabration with a qualifying $50 product order.
The first card was a fun sports car – I stamped the card on a piece of Pattern Party 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper – I thought the black and white check design worked well with a race car!
The second card was one using a fun background technique – created with ink and blending brushes on Basic White card stock. You can see how I did this in my Facebook Live recording above. It’s always fun to try new techniques and this is a fun one!
I finished this card with a small piece of Sunshine & Rainbows 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper – it is also a Saleabration freebie – (with a qualifying $50 product purchase).

Yesterday I did a Facebook Live on my I’d Rather Bee Stampin’ page. I created three cards featuring the beautiful New Horizons Suite of products! Such beautiful products!!! I started with a very simple card – basically just showcasing the Horizons Designer Series Paper – I created a frame with the Stitched Rectangles Dies to really just highlight the paper. Very simple but I think we all need simple at times – and with paper this beautiful, you don’t need to add much more – a word, some Genial Gems and done!

The next card I made was also simple – I used a Basic White Note Card/Envelope. I knew I wanted to use the “scene” of the Designer Series Paper as the focal point – and cut that to 3 x 4 3/4. I looked through the pack of DSP and found a coordinating color and used it to cover the front of the card – 3 1/2 x 5. I stamped the birds with Black Memento ink and popped up the center panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The words were stamped on a small Stitched Rectangle Die with Evening Evergreen Ink. Again – pretty simple but it works! This card could easily be stepped up with some gems and/or twine. I liked the simplicity of it so kept it as is!
The third card I made was a Tent Card – and is a stepped up card. It was really fun to create the little beach scene on the circle. This card measures 2 1/4 x 5 1/2 – and will fit in a regular size envelope. It’s fun to switch things up a bit from the traditional card with something like this!
The circle was cropped from the Designer Series Paper – I used a blending brush with Daffodil Ink to add a bit of a sunrise – l love that the paper makes it look like rays spreading out from the sun! I stamped the birds in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and also stamped the grass with Evening Evergreen ink.
The rest of the card was put together with die cuts – I cropped the fence with Sahara Sand ink and then stamped over it multiple times with the textured label stamp that is in the stamp set- I wanted to make the fence have a more weathered look and this seemed to accomplish that. I cropped the grass directly from the Designer Series Paper – and love the variation in color this created.
The Pebble Enamel Shapes are so fun – and add a finishing touch to the card. Which card is your favorite? I’d love to know!!!

Yesterday I did a Facebook Live on my I’d Rather Bee Stampin’ page. I will be sharing some Saleabration products on Thursdays over the next several weeks so please tune in! The cards shared both use two different Saleabration products that you can get for free with a $50 order – the Awesome Otters stamp set – and the Simply Marbleous Designer Series Paper.
The first card was a simple birthday card – I used the Stitched with Whimsy dies for the top panel on the Highland Heather card base and also the small square – I love the detail these dies add! I colored the otter with Stampin’ Blends – and added a cute little birthday party hat.

My second card was a matchbook style card – the top panel – using the Simply Marbelous Designer Series Paper – also a Saleabration reward, folds down and rests behind the otter on the circle panel. The Simply Marbelous paper is perfect way to create a water look! I used the Diorama dies to crop a shape out of the DSP and folded it down to create the Matchbook!

Yesterday I did a Facebook Live on my I’d Rather Bee Stampin’ page. It’s fun to get to work with some new products from our just released January – June Mini Catalog! I love Valentine’s Day – it’s always great to tell your friends and family that you love them – all year round, but Valentine’s Day is a special reminder!
This little box is sweet – they are part of the Sweet Talk Suite Collection and are called Sweet Little Boxes – and the name fits! The boxes go together quickly – they come with a strong adhesive on them – making them quick to put together. The “bouquet” of hearts coming out of the tiny little envelope were all cropped from the Sweet Talk 12 x 12 DSP with the Sweet Heart Dies – I always love when the dies coordinate with the DSP!

I used the Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels to add some sparkle – love these embellishments! They are clear and seem to pick up the color of the paper you put them on – as you can see on my hearts below:
My card idea came from a box I had seen that was created by Stampin’ Up! – I loved it and thought it would be a really cute card – I tweaked it a bit and here is the card I came up with:
I love the strip of hearts die – and I used one of the little heart cutouts from this die to embellish my tag. More of the Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels added some sparkle to the card:

Yesterday I did a Facebook Live on my I’d Rather Bee Stampin’ page. It’s fun to get to work with some new products from our just released January – June Mini Catalog!
