A week of Tricks & Treats Giveaway! Comment at the end of this post with your favorite Halloween Color for your chance to win a pack of Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack! A random winner will be drawn and posted on my blog tomorrow!
For yesterday’s Facebook Live, I created two different cards with different colors – what do you think? A blue Santa Claus? Why not! We laughed during my Facebook Live – saying perhaps Santa’s red suit was in the wash that day so he pulled out his blue suit!
My first card had a fun pop up component to it! Meausurements are listed below – and you can watch the FB Live to see how to assemble – it goes together very quickly!
I used the Gingerbread and Peppermint Designer Series Paper for the card front. The circle is cut with the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine and the largest circle from the Layering Circle dies. I added color to Santa with Stampin’ Blends – my favorite way to add color to any line image! And don’t you just love that cute little bird?
My word panel is cropped with a stitched shape from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. Such a great set of dies! I finished up the card with a sprinkling of Red Rhinestones and a touch of Real Red Mini Ruffled Ribbon.

If I had to pick a favorite Halloween color, it would have to be orange. I can’t imagine Halloween without the beautiful orange colors everywhere, from pumpkins to colorful leaves. And of course all of the delightful carved Jack-o-lanterns you see everywhere.
P.S. I think blue Santa is adorable!
Thanks Barbara! I thing he is pretty cute, too!
I have to agree with Barbara. Halloween wouldn’t be the same without orange being featured.
Yes! Orange is Halloween!
The Santa cards are so adorable!!!
Thanks Ann Marie!
Yesterdays Santa cards were adorable. I agree with everyone else, orange is my favorite Halloween color and a must have for Halloween.
True !!! What would we do withour orange pumpkins? Although I prefer the white ones!
Love these cards. The untraditional color is a refreshing.
Thanks Christy! I like the blue one too! Different is ok!!
Both cards are adorable. I’m with the orange lovers for Halloween
yes i think orange is what people think of for Halloween! Thanks for commenting – good to “see” you last night!
I love both Santa cards. I like that you used a non-traditional color (blue) on the one card.
Thanks Debbie!!!
I love the Santa Pop-up card! I favor Purple!
Orange and black, love that in a checkerboard pattern for Halloween! I’m really loving the blue Santa!!
Yes! That’s an awesome color combo for Halloween!
good for you! You are the only one I think that said anything other than orange so far!! YAY!
Love Purple!!! Like my Blue Santa – Halloween doesn’t always need to be orange!!!
Love the blue Santa.
Thanks Christine!
Not sure if this is where we are suppose to comment or not…but my favorite Halloween (fall) treat is all the candy of course……use to love seeing what the kids got when they dumped out their bags…and then watch them sort it all out. Of course I asked for a piece or two….LOL
Yes! We did that too – separate it out and trade what you don’t like with your siblings!
Is this where we comment about trick or treaters? We live out in the woods, with few neighbors. Haven’t had any kids come trick or treating in years…but I still buy candy…because you never know 😉 BTW, Laura, I love all of your designs!
I love the blue Santa 💙
