For yesterday’s Facebook Live, I created two different cards with different colors – what do you think?  A blue Santa Claus? Why not!  We laughed during my Facebook Live – saying perhaps Santa’s red suit was in the wash that day so he pulled out his blue suit!

My first card had a fun pop up component to it!   Meausurements are listed below – and you can watch the FB Live to see how to assemble – it goes together very quickly!

I used the Gingerbread and Peppermint Designer Series Paper for the card front.  The circle is cut with the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine and the largest circle from the Layering Circle dies.   I added color to Santa with Stampin’ Blends – my favorite way to add color to any line image!  And don’t you just love that cute little bird?

My word panel is cropped with a stitched shape from the Stitched So Sweetly dies.  Such a great set of dies! I finished up the card with a sprinkling of Red Rhinestones and a touch of Real Red Mini Ruffled Ribbon.

Here is Santa dressed in blue! I love the combination of the Balmy Blue and Black.  The DSP I used is a hostess only pack – it’s shown in our Annual Catalog – we are all loving this paper stack!  One side is black and white and the reverse side has many different colors – making it very versatile!

Again, I used my Stampin’ Blends to add color to Santa and the little sweet bird – and added a touch of Balmy Blue DSP from the Subtles 6″ x 6″ Paper Assortment.  To finish the card, I added some Black/White Gingham Ribbon and several of the cute Halloween Adhesive Backed Stars – clearly these aren’t just for Halloween!   I did have to fussy cut Santa and the Bird – but it wasn’t bad at all!

If I had to pick a favorite Halloween color, it would have to be orange. I can’t imagine Halloween without the beautiful orange colors everywhere, from pumpkins to colorful leaves. And of course all of the delightful carved Jack-o-lanterns you see everywhere.

P.S. I think blue Santa is adorable!

Not sure if this is where we are suppose to comment or not…but my favorite Halloween (fall) treat is all the candy of course……use to love seeing what the kids got when they dumped out their bags…and then watch them sort it all out. Of course I asked for a piece or two….LOL

Yes! We did that too – separate it out and trade what you don’t like with your siblings!

Is this where we comment about trick or treaters? We live out in the woods, with few neighbors. Haven’t had any kids come trick or treating in years…but I still buy candy…because you never know 😉 BTW, Laura, I love all of your designs!
