make a beautiful hand made card with Blackberry Beauty Suite by Stampin' Up - Laura Milligan demonstrator Earn Free Product

My card today was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.  When I saw the sketch I immediately thought of the beautiful Blackberry Beauty Suite!

Step by Step Tutorial Black and Bee

I used one of the Basic Borders Dies to crop a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock.   I took an Early Espresso Blend and tapped it over the Vanilla panel to add some soft flecks of color to the Vanilla panel.

Next, I stamped and die cut two of the floral images from the Beauty of Tomorrow stamp set and cropped them with the coordinating dies.  I layered these and added a gold sprig from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack and attached them to the Very Vanilla panel.

I tied a small bow with Linen Thread and adhered it with a glue dot.   I stamped the greeting onto a small strip of Very Vanilla cardstock, and positioned this over the Linen Thread bow.

I cut a piece of the Blackberry Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper – I cut this “strategically” so that the sparrow would show!   This panel was adhered to an Early  Espresso cardstock base.    I added the Very Vanilla panel with dimensionals to the card front.

To finish the card, I embellished with a Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dot.
