Create two beautiful handmade card with the Fancy Flora Suite by Stampin' Up! Video Tutorial Laura Milligan Id Rather Bee Stampin

For this week’s Facebook Live, I made two beautiful cards using the Fancy Flora Suite Collection from Stampin’ Up!  This is a wonderful suite – and it includes 2 bundles – one the floral images with coordinating dies and one is a great word set – with some new word phrases I haven’t seen before and dies that coordinate.  Both are awesome and I am glad to add them to my collection!

My first card uses a fun and easy technique – I call it the Tile Technique – I started with a piece of Basic White cardstock

measuring 3 3/4″ x 5″, and used my Stampin’ Trimmer to score every inch – both across the length and the width of the panel – creating a “tile” effect.  Then I simply stamped my flowers and leaves – this is a photopolymer two stemp stamp set and is pretty easy to line up the two stamps to create the flower.  For my sample, I used Pool Party ink for the more solid image, and Coastal Cabana ink for the more detailed image.  Leaves were stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink.

The words and die cut shape are from the Something Fancy Bundle – I love this sentiment!  Perfect for a belated birthday!

Next – a gorgeous and simple card to showcase the beautiful detailed die!  I experimented with the best way to die cut this day – which I show in the Facebook Live – best tip is to put the cutting side of the die facing up – it has worked well for me! I also add a piece of waxed paper between the die and the cardstock – this also helps!

With a die this pretty, I didn’t add much more to the card – I stamped a greeting from the Something Fancy stamp set – LOVE this sentiment too – and then cropped it with one of the Something Fancy dies.

What do you think? Which is your favorite?  I’d love to know!!
