Come back this afternoon – I will be sharing news of our Color Refresh as soon as Stampin’ Up! shares it with the demonstrator base! Very exciting!!!
For this week’s Facebook Live, I made three beautiful cards using the Delicate Desert Suite Collection from Stampin’ Up! I used sticky notes to hold two of the dies – together – and this created three different pieces tha tI used on my cards. The idea of using the two dies together came from Mary Knabe. I loved her idea and these are my take on the cards! Thanks, Mary!
Here’s a photo of the dies put together. I used a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of gorgeous Dry Brushed Metallic Designer Series Paper and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.
Here is a look at the complete Delicate Desert Suite.
You can see how I created these cards by watching the Facebook Live the replay here:
Card one: Thick Basic White card base with one of the pieces of DSP – the words were stamped in Evening Evergreen Ink and the flowers in Calypso Coral ink. Embellishments were the Gold Faceted Adhesive Backed Sequins, and a bit of Linen Thread. These Gold Faceted Sequins are my thank you gift this month for placing a $50 product order in my online store! Don’t miss out!
Card Two: I used a second piece of DSP , and mounted it on a piece of the Delicate Dsert DSP. For this card, I also added a leaf cropped with Soft Succulent cardstock. Embellishments were same as on the card above. And I love these words as well!
The third card uses the largest DSP frame, and like the card above, I placed this on a piece of the Desert Details DSP.
I also used the Coral piece of the Specialty DSP – and did the exact same thing – just to show how both color combinations work! Which is your favorite? I’m not sure which my favorite is!
Price: $8.00
