Another card idea and tutorial using the Soft Seedlings Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up! You can see my previous creations here.
MEASUREMENTS:
- Cajun Craze Cardstock : 5 1/2″ x 11″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Crumb Cake Cardstock: 4″ x 5 1/2″, 4 1/4″ x 3
- Soft Suede Cardstock: 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
- Crushed Curry Cardstock: 5″ x 3 3/4″, 1″ x 3″
- Old Olive Cardstock: 1″ x 3″
- Pumpkin Pie Cardstock: 1″ x 3″
- Cajun Craze Cardstock: 1″ x 3″
- Basic White Cardstock: 1″ x 5/8″
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Burnish and fold the card base with a Bone Folder.
- Adhere the Crumb Cake Cardstock to the card base.
- Adhere the four 1″ x 3″ strips of Cardstock to the 4 1/4″ x 3 piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock.
- Stamp the image in Versamark Ink onto the strips of cardstock as shown. Cover with white Embossing Powder. Set with a Heat Tool.
- Die-cut the Crushed Curry piece with the largest Fabulous Frames die. Adhere as shown.
- Stamp the sentiment in Soft Suede Classic Ink onto the Basic White piece. Adhere as shown.
- Tie a bow of Baker’s Twine and adhere with a Mini Glue Dot.
- Embellish with Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

I love fall and while we are in the heat of summer, I enjoyed creating and sharing these cards on this week’s Facebook Live. You can watch the replay here:
For my first card, I used one of my favorite card layouts – I know I use it frequently! Like most of my cards, I started with a Thick Basic White base. Then I made the small scallop edge created with the Scallop Contour dies and Crumb Cake card stock. I added a 1 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ strip of Rustic Harvest DSP along the right edge of the card front and then layered the Crumb Cake scallop strip on top.
I stamped the leaf image with Crumb Cake ink onto a panel of Basic White measuring 3 1/4″ x 5 1/4″. I used my Bone Folder and the Dark Basic Black Blend to add some splatters to this panel. I stamped the words in Tuxedo Black ink onto a small Basic White panel and then used my Paper Snips to angle the edge. I added a double bow made with Linen Thread beneath the word panel and attached this to my card front with dimensionals. To finish the card, I added a few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
Add a little extra touch: Use a piece of Designer Paper and adhere it to the flap of your envelope. Trim excess – following the lines of the envelope flap and you have made the envelope a little extra special!
For my second card I inked up the leaf image with Pale Papaya ink. Then I used a Sponge Dauber with Calypso Coral ink and added some ink onto the leaf for some contrast in color. (You can see me do this in the facebook live video). This is fun to do and for the leaves you could switch up the inks for a multitude of colors! Each leaf will turn out a little different – just like in nature.
I stamped the leaf image onto a die cut shape from the Seasonal Labels dies.
Again, I started with a Thick Basic White card base and then embossed a panel of Basic White with the Leaf Fall embossing folder. I added a strip of Splendid Day Specialty Paper along the left edge, as well as a piece of the 7/8″ Natural Finish Ribbon.
Then I attached the leaf panel to the card front. I stamped “Hello” onto a small circle die shape from the Stylish Labels dies. These have become a “go to” for me – there are so many great shapes in this set of dies – and in multiple sizes.
To finish the card, I added a Linen Thread bow and a sprinkling of the Champagne Rhinestone gems.
Extra Touch: I embossed the envelope flap with the Leaf Fall Embossing Folder and then decided to use a Blending Brush and Calypso Coral ink to highlight the embossing. I like how it turned out and my viewers seemed to like it as well!

After my recent foot surgery I was thrilled each day when the mail arrived because it held lots and lots of well wishes from friends and family! Awe- it was the best! I loved when our mail carrier arrived – I got cards nearly every single day – and I loved every single one!!! I shared them all on my Facebook Live that I did on Monday – so you can watch the replay below if you’d like to take a look!
I also created a card featuring the Cottage Rose bundle. It was so fun to get back to doing a Live again! I missed it and was so happy to get to reconnect with my followers! The card features a neutral color palate – which I always like. The flower image was stamped with Early Espresso Ink onto Crumb Cake card stock and cropped with the Cottage Flower dies which are part of the Cottage Rose Bundle.
I used the beautiful Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper for my card – it’s so pretty! I added some splatters of ink on a Very Vanilla panel – to do this, I used the dark Soft Suede Blend and hit it with a bone folder to create the splatters Quick and easy and it’s a fun way to release some tension!!!
The small panel of “journal” looking dsp was cropped with the Deckled Rectangle dies and also splattered with the Soft Suede Blends.
I used the Special Edition stamp set to the back of the card – I love this stamp that says “a paper hug” because that’s exactly what a handmade card is! There are some other really cute stamps in this set too!

Thick Basic Vanilla – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″; 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″
Crumb Cake: scrap for stamping/die cutting flower image
Designer Series Paper – 4″ x 5 1/4″, 2″ x 3 1/2″

The quick and simple card duo was created with the Fond of Autumn Die Bundle from the Stampin’ Up! 2022 July – December Holiday Mini Catalog! Which do you like better? Basic White or Crumb Cake?
MEASUREMENTS:
- Basic White Thick & Crumb Cake Cardstock : 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″
- Basic White & Crumb Cake Cardstock: 4″ x 5 1/2″, 4 1/2″ x 3″ (stamping/die-cutting)
- Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper: 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Burnish and fold the card base with a Bone Folder.
- Adhere the Designer Series Paper to the card base.
- Die-cut the layer with the Autumn Bouquet Die and a die-cutting machine. Adhere to the card.
- Stamp the sentiment and images in Soft Suede Classic Ink. Crop with the coordinating Autumn Bouquet Dies. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Tie a bow of Baker’s Twine and adhere with a Mini Glue Dot.
- Embellish with Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots.

MEASUREMENTS:
- Mossy Meadow Card Stock: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”
- Petal Pink Card Stock: 5 1/2” x 3 ½”, 5 ¼” x 4”
- Very Vanilla Card Stock: 5” x 3 ¾”
- Sahara Sand Card Stock: 3 ¼” x 3 ¼”
- Abigail Rose DSP: 5 1/2” x 3”
- Natural Finish Ribbon: 5”
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Fold Mossy Meadow card base in half to form a 5 ½” x 4 ¼” card.
- Adhere 5 ½” x 3 ½” Petal Pink card stock to the front of your card base; centering it top to bottom.
- Stamp the large flower on Sahara Sand paper with Mossy Meadow Ink; cut out with coordinating die.
- Color the floral image with watercolor pencils using the artists lines as your guide. Blend with a blender pen. Colors used are Calypso Coral, Old Olive and White.
- Stamp Leaf image with Mossy Meadow ink randomly onto the ribbon.
- Brush the bottom edge of the ribbon with the Mossy Meadow Blend and allow the color to blend up. Cut right edge of ribbon on an angle.
- Adhere the DSP onto the Petal Pink card front.
- Adhere the ribbon on to the left side of the DSP as shown about ¼” up from bottom.
- Adhere the flower image over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp the greeting in the upper right corner of the DSP with Mossy Meadow ink.
- Add 3 Champaign Rhinestones as shown.
- Adhere 5 ¼” x 4” Petal Pink Card Stock to the inside of your card.
- Stamp the Very Vanilla Card Stock with your Inside greeting (I used Happy Birthday) and stamp a smaller flower with Gray Granite ink near one of the lower corners then adhere to the inside of your card.
- Stamp your Envelope.

MEASUREMENTS:
- Card Base: Basic Black 4 ¼” X 11” score at 5 ½”, 3 ¼” X 4 ¼”, ¼” X 3 ½”
- Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper: (2) 2 ½” X 4”, 3” X 4”, ¾” X 4”
- Very Vanilla: 4” X 5 ¼”, 1” X 3”
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Fold your Basic Black card base in half.
- Attach the 2 pieces of the Abigail Rose Designer Series paper to your card front as shown.
- Using the Petal Pink blends; color in the Abigail Rose Designer Series paper 3” X 4”.
- Attach to the Basic Black cardstock.
- Attach to your card front using dimensionals.
- On the Very Vanilla cardstock strip stamp your sentiment using Black Memento ink.
- Die cut out with the Banner Die.
- Attach the strip of Basic Black cardstock to the backside of the banner die and flap the ends as shown.
- Attach to your card front using dimensionals.
- Attach Black Matte Dots as shown.
- On the Very Vanilla cardstock attach the strip of Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper across the bottom and attach to the inside of your card.
