I am going to be doing Facebook Lives every day this week showcasing some of my favorite products in our new Annual Catalog- and on Tuesday I did a Facebook Live on my I’d Rather Bee Stampin’ page. This is a great bundle – it includes a punch for the bird shown on the bottom of my card – and don’t we all love a good punch? The smaller bird on the top of the card was fussy cut, but it wasn’t too bad to do – and the wing is part of the punch.
I used the Picture This Dies to create the background – the DSP is from the 2022-2024 In Color Designer Series Paper stack – this pattern/color is the new Orchid Oasis – I think this could be my favorite new In Color – although I reserve the right to change my mind on that!

I am so excited to finally be playing with my pre-order products! The NEW 2022-2023 Annual Catalog is set to launch on May 3, 2022, and the Tea Boutique Suite Collection is one of my favorites.
The card I created today was inspired by this week’s Global Design Project Challenge #GDP340 – Case the Designer – Ann Alexander. You can see the GDP post here.
MEASUREMENTS:
- Basic White Thick: 4 1/4″ x 11″. Score at 5 1/2″.
- Basic White: 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ (layer), 6″ x 6″ (stamping)
- Starry Sky: 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ (layer)
- Sweet Sorbet: 2 1/2″ x 1/4″
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Burnish and fold the card base with a Bone Folder.
- Stamp the leaves onto the card base multiple times with Parakeet Party Classic Ink.
- Wrap the Sweet Sorbet Baker’s Twine around the layer of Basic White Cardstock. Tie with a bow to secure in place.
- Adhere to the Starry Sky Cardstock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Adhere to the card base with Dimensionals.
- Stamp the following image onto the Basic White Cardstock piece: Starry Sky: Teacup and Tag, Parakeet Party: Flower Leaves, Granny Apple Green: Large Leaves, Sweet Sorbet: Flowers
- Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to crop the images with the coordinating Teacup Dies. Layer and adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp the sentiment in Versamark Ink onto the piece of Sweet Sorbet Cardstock. Emboss with White Embossing Powder. Adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Today’s free tutorial is all about simplicity and I love this card. Collages always appeal to me and this set of neutral tones has a soft, yet earthy feel. The Ranunculus Romance Stamp Set is great on it’s own (simplistic) but if you want to step it up, buy the bundle and save 10% (over purchasing the stamp set and dies individually).
MEASUREMENTS:
- Crumb Cake: 8 ½” x 5 ½”; score at 4 ¼”
- Early Espresso: 5 ¼” x 4”
- Very Vanilla: 5” x 3 ¾”
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Fold the Crumb Cake cardstock on score line to form card base.
- Stamp the images in Crumb Cake and Soft Suede in a collage pattern on the Very Vanilla.
- Stamp the sentiment in Early Espresso.
- Glue the stamped piece to Early Espresso layer and glue both to the card base.
- Add Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots.
- Add Wink of Stella to the ranunculus flower.

Yesterday I did a Facebook Live on my I’d Rather Bee Stampin’ page. I featured products from the Abstract Beauty Suite from the January to June Mini Catalog.
I created four cards using the Stack, Cut and Shuffle Technique – my viewers seemed to really like this idea and said they would give it a try!

I “stacked” four different, but coordinating pieces of Designer Series Paper from the Abstract Beauty pack and started by cutting them to 4″ x 5 1/4″ -please watch recording for the measurements and how to cut these papers and shuffle them!
You can see how each of the four cards have the DSP in a different spot on the card front – so cute! I love the bright and cheery colors in this paper. I used the Abstract Beauty Ephemera Pack to add detail and embellish the cards. It is packed full of so many neat elements – the flowers, leaves, vellum pieces, word bubbles, tags, and more! So super cute and fun to use in creating your cards!
The stamp set used is Hello Beautiful – it is part of the Abstract Beauty Suite. The Adhesive Backed Hexagon Embellishments add a touch of bling to these cards, as does the Gold trim – from the Simply Elegant Trim Combo from the Annual Catalog.
Love some of the word sentiments in the stamp set!

For my first card, I made a regular size card – but with fun colors! Why not have a Granny Apple Green truck? I layered some additional colors on the card through paper – Crumb Cake and Sahara Sand and White and added a pop of color with the balloons stamped in Poppy Parade.
My favorite part of the card though has got to be the envelope! I stamped the truck on the front of the envelope – the open center of the truck is perfect for adding an address to the lucky recipient!
Here’s a closer look at the card – I used my Crumb Cake Dark Blend to add some “splatter” to the card front.
Next I made a slimline card – they are so fun to make – the card base is 8 1/2 x 7, scored at 3 1/2. Did you notice our new Slimline Envelopes in the January- June Mini? They are so wonderful – they come in three different colors – White, Smoky Slate and Soft Succulent – I love the shape of the flap and that they are lined with a cute pattern!

Today’s free tutorial is a beautiful “fun fold: card featuring the Daffodil Daydream Bundle. This just screams of spring to me! We’ve had quite the blast of winter where I live and these daffodils are a refreshing change! The Designer Series Paper- Daffodil Afternoon is a free product offering during Saleabration! It’s free with a $50 product order – and it’s sooooooo pretty!
MEASUREMENTS:
- Mossy Meadow CS: 5 ½ x 8 ½”; scrap
- Very Vanilla CS: 4 x 5 ¼” (inside); scrap for a label and die cutting
- Pear Pizzazz CS: 1 ¼” x 10″;
- DSP: (2) 1 7/8 x 5 ¼”; 1 x 10
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Score mossy meadow CS on 8 ½” side at 2 1/8” on both sides. Adhere DSP to the front 2 flaps.
- Adhere DSP strip to the pear pizzaz CS. Create a belly band by wrapping a pear pizzaz piece around the card and securing with tear tape in the front.
- Die cut stitched so sweetly label from very vanilla piece. Stamp a sentiment in Mossy meadow ink. Adhere to the belly band with dimensionals.
- Stamp a daffodil image in memento black ink on very vanilla piece. Color with blends. Die cut. Die cut 2 leaves from mossy meadow piece. Adhere behind the daffodils. Add to the belly band with dimensionals.
- Stamp a part of the daffodil image on 4 x 5 ¼” piece of very vanilla for inside the card. Color with blends. Adhere inside the card.
- Tie a bow and add to the daffodils with a glue dot.
- Add 3 butterflies – 2 to the label and 1 to the card.
- Add crystal effects to the center of the flowers.
