I am going to be doing Facebook Lives every day this week showcasing some of my favorite products in our new Annual Catalog- and on Tuesday I did a Facebook Live on my I’d Rather Bee Stampin’ page. I featured the brand new Sweet Songbirds Bundle with new 2022-2024 In Colors – Orchid Oasis and Sweet Sorbet!
Here is the recording of the Facebook Live: Whether you are watching the replay or the recording via my youtube channel, please leave a comment and subscribe! Your name will be entered for a drawing of the projects I create – winners get a project mailed to them!
This is a great bundle – it includes a punch for the bird shown on the bottom of my card – and don’t we all love a good punch? The smaller bird on the top of the card was fussy cut, but it wasn’t too bad to do – and the wing is part of the punch.
I used the Picture This Dies to create the background – the DSP is from the 2022-2024 In Color Designer Series Paper stack – this pattern/color is the new Orchid Oasis – I think this could be my favorite new In Color – although I reserve the right to change my mind on that!
Sweet little card and easy to assemble! My kind of card!

My card features the beautiful Hues of Happiness Suite – the dies – the gorgeous paper and the stamp set. The good news is these gorgeous flowers and the leaves used in my card are die cut directly from the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper! I chose the purple and blue flowers – but there are also pink and yellow flowers that can also be die cut from the DSP!
i also LOVE the die cut that I used on the background of this card – to me it almost looks like a doily -but with a more modern take complete with stitching!
i finished up the card with some embellishing – I used the new Glossy Dot Assortment gems – so pretty !! I think this card is quite stunning and I love that thanks to the die cuts it goes together rather quickly!

Yesterday I did a Facebook Live on my I’d Rather Bee Stampin’ page. I featured the Cup of Tea Suite of products from our upcoming new catalog – release date is May 3 – so we are getting close!

My card features lots of new products – and some of our new In Colors- everyone seems to be loving them! They are so bright and cheerful. I stamped and die cut three different tea cups and stacked them on a Basic White panel – cropped from the Scallop Contour dies. I love the added touch of the lemon and the little tea bag string with the heart tag at the end!
My card base and matching envelope are a part of this new collection – they are called Tea Boutique Notecards and Envelopes – they are so cute – and don’t you just love the sweet envelopes?
For the inside of the card, I used a Scallop Contour die and cropped it from the Tea Boutique Designer Paper. I adhered it to the inside of the card and it was the perfect size to hold a tea bag. To dress it up a bit, I added a tea cup and a slice of lemon.
I have very fond memories of my mom having tea parties – with me and also my girls! Do you enjoy tea parties, or a cup of tea? If so, this collection is for you! You will love it!
Yesterday I did a Facebook Live on my I’d Rather Bee Stampin’ page. I featured two different bundles but used the same layout for both. It was fun to switch things up a bit and create two different looking cards with the same layout!

My first card featured the Honeybee Home bundle – no surprise it’s one of my favorite bundles in the January – June Mini catalog! I used a Smoky Slate card base then stamped the floral image onto a scrap of the “wood grain” pattern from the Heart and Home Designer Series Paper. I cropped this with the dies and added some color with Pale Papaya and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. I positioned the die cut onto a 3 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ panel of the same DSP pattern.
I used the Tasteful Label dies for my word panel – these are on the retiring list! This set of dies are a “go to” of mind for word panels – I recommend getting them before they do retire! Other components of this card include the scallop edge, created with the Scallop Contour Dies and a small strip of Vellum Layering Designs. And don’t you just love the Bee Trinket – they are retiring too! Trust me – I have stocked up on them – they are just such a great addition to so many different cards!! I have also stocked up on the beautiful ribbon (available in several of our current In Colors) – this ribbon is so soft and pretty and easy to work with!
My next card was inspired by a card Shelli Gardner shared – her’s was a totally different layout but I loved the color combo and wanted to give it a try with today’s layout and I love how it turned out! For this card, I used Misty Moonlight and Bumblebee cardstock and ink. The little strip of DSP is from the Heart and Home DSP – like my first card and the Blue pattern is the back side of the wood grain pattern I used on the first card.
I love the leafy die cut on this card – I added just a bit of glue to the base of the die cut, rather than adhere the entire piece. To embellish, I used the Iridescent Rhinestones Basic gems and a bit of Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon.
What do you think of this layout? I am really liking it and hope you will give it a try on some of your own projects!
I must confess that I haven’t used this beautiful set since it was released in January – but it is a beauty and not to be missed. My card today features elements of the Symbols of Fortune Suite – the stamped words, the dies and the gorgeous Designer Series Specialty Paper.
